Out: to the USA

Recently someone complained to me about the present time: people would be so individualistic. And agitated. Sending brief emails but never take the time for a real letter.
I was happy to reply with some positive things. Concerning handwritten letters and postcards: I think this is booming. See for instance the websites mentioned on the right side of this page, and the links mentioned on those websites.
Concerning 'individualism', I think there are many people who are caring for others. And there are lots of connecting initiatives. Also international, see for instance this 'senior wish', which someone alerted me to, via email. So that's why I'm sending this postcard to someone who cannot travel anymore due to lung problems. And this way the receiver will see a lot of the world, I'm sure.
